ICDES a joint effort between the Departments of Development Studies and Anthropology at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak focuses on the exploration and assessment of the relationships between development, society and environment.
ICDES aims to promote collaboration of cross-disciplinary research by providing an excellent opportunity to disseminate, share and discuss ideas towards an inclusive and sustainable development.
ICDES also offer workshops, designed and led by expertise on Geographical Information System (GIS), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Community Engagement.
