HIGHLIGHTS: IAS hosts Borneo Studies Workshop: The State of The Art and Future Directions (30 Nov-1 Dec 2012)

IAS organised and chaired the Borneo Studies Workshop in 2012. The workshop aimed to map the future directions and the state of the art on Borneo Studies.

Experts from the Pontianak College of Islamic Studies, Universiti Sabah Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Tun Jugah Foundation, Universiti Malaya were in attendance.

The workshop, which was chaired by Professor Victor T. King, Eminent Visiting Professor at the Institute, was covered by local media.
